Rules and Regulations
Belgrade Ballet Competition
Will take place in Belgrade, Serbia, Thursday, 15th – Sunday 18 th , October 2020 at the National Theatre in Belgrade, 3 Francuska Street, Belgrade 11000.
The competition consists of following sections:
Thursday 15 th Master Classes
Friday 16 th Semifinals and Master Classes
Saturday 17 th Semifinals
Sunday 18 th Finals
Each section is divided by age into 3 categories:
STUDENT: from 12 to 15 years
JUNIOR: from 16 to 18 years
SENIOR: from 19 to 23
The competition configuration:

The application form for the registration must be field on belgradeballetcompetition.com
Each entry form must be accompanied by the following documents sent to
– A photocopy of an identity document.
– Music files- by specifying the name of the candidate and title of the choreography and category
belonging to the choreography.
-Two photos – one ballet position ( stage, rehearsal, etc.) and one portrait.

Registration fees for each category are:
Registration fees are not refundable under any circumstances. In the event of failure to reach a
minimum number of participants, the organizers reserve the right to combine and / or eliminate
We do not accept registrations without full documentation.
Competitors will be able to apply for masterclasses in person when they arrive at the theatre.
Each contestant may submit choreographic compositions whose duration shall not exceed 2 minutes.
The themes of the choreography are believed to be free; costumes for use in choreography are believed
to be free .The Belgrade Ballet Competition will not recognize choreographies any rights.
The dance floor must be kept clean by the participants. Use of talcum powder on the stage and on the
body, use of fire, candles and liquids is forbidden. On stage will be introduced only objects that are part
of the set design and choreography running, installed and removed by the participants themselves or
their employees (for easy transport and not cluttered).
For each category will be awarded the following prizes :
• 1st Prize Medal and Diploma
• 2nd Prize Medal and Diploma
• 3rd prize Medal and Diploma
• 1st Prize Medal and Diploma +600€
• 2nd Prize Medal and Diploma +400€
• 3rd prize Medal and Diploma +200€
• 1st Prize Medal and Diploma + 2500€
• 2nd Prize Medal and Diploma +1500€
• 3rd prize Medal and Diploma + 900€
The scholarships are offered kindly and personally, awarded by the jury to the participants from their
deemed worthy regardless of the results of the competition.
The ranking and voting of the jury are final. The competition does not provide presets. Each judge is
called upon to express their opinion at the end of each performance. The judges may terminate and
repeat performances if they consider it appropriate for the purposes of judgment.
Photo and Video
The photographic and audiovisual competition is ensured by the organization and is therefore the sole
property of the same. During the entire event will be absolutely forbidden to take photographs or
television coverage of any kind. Each entrant or his deputy, upon enrollment waiver of any copyright of
representation, to any compensation for their participation in the competition and in fact authorizes the
organization to acquire and use their image to promotional and informational purposes only authorized
by the legislation in force.
The participants take responsibility for their own physical fitness. The organization accepts no liability
for damage to persons or property that may occur during the various stages of the event, whether
suffered or caused by people participating in the competition.
